This 16W 1-10v Dimmable Driver is the perfect tool for dimming your LED lighting down.

With a built in 3-in-1 dimming function, this driver also has an active Power Factor Correction (PFC). This is for improved power factor and quality as it reduces the load, increases energy efficiency and reduces electricity costs. It also decreases the chances of lighting failure.

With a maximum load of 16W, it comes in a fully isolated plastic casing and is a class 2 power unit. It can be used in a range of temperatures from sub-zero to 70oC and is just 148 x 40 x 30mm to fit anywhere with ease.

Not just limited to LED Strip Lights, you can also pair dimmable drivers with other fittings like LED Panel Lights.

The Different Types Of LED Driver

When shopping for lighting, whether it be for a domestic or commercial setting, you may find that it has voltage and current requirements that are different to the mains power supply (240V). This is where an LED Driver will come in.

Sometimes called a transformer or power supply, this is a self-contained unit that matches the output voltage and current of the device it is attached to. It will step down the electricity of the lighting to a lower voltage.

Drivers come in many varieties, including standard, dimmable, waterproof and more. They will either be plug-and-play or mains ready.

Plug-and-play drivers are designed for quick and easy installation. The driver is connected to the mains using a standard 3-pin plug.

Mains ready transformers are designed for permanent installations and can be wired directly into an existing circuit. They normally have a high IP rating too so are suitable for damp and wet environments.

Our dimmable drivers allow you to dim the brightness of your tape right down for maximum mood lighting. Perfect for home installations, they work best with the right Controller and can also help you to save more money on electric bills as dimming lights consumes less energy.
