OptimX 24W 12V AC/DC Power Adapter

Our Mirrorstone OptimX 24W 12V AC/DC Power Adapter makes it easy to power your 12V single colour & RGB strip lights and your LED light bars.

It plugs straight into your mains via standard UK 3-pin plug, and into your LED lights through a 2.5mm connector: and that's it!

Once plugged in, it takes the mains 240V and outputs a more LED friendly 12V.

The maximum load of 24W makes it perfect for relatively short lengths of strip light or low power light bars.

Power Your Lights!

As mentioned before, this OptimX 24W AC/DC Power Adapter will work with 12V single colour & RGB strips and light bars. Amongst all these options, we've got a couple of recommendations for you.

The first is our 7.2W RGB LED Strip Lights. They have a maximum brightness of 510 lumens, yet they only use 7.2W/m of electricity. As a result, you can safely run up to 3m of this tape using our featured 12V AC/DC power adapter, giving you plenty of length to work with.

We would also recommend using our 8.5W 0.5M LED Light Bar. It's slightly more power hungry than our suggested strips at 8.5W of power.

It does shine though with 450 lumens of light. Throw in IP44 rating and a 120^o beam angle, and you have a great all round light that's brilliant for general illumination.

Some flexibility is afforded to you through the choice of colour temperatures too.

If you're running strip lights and need a slightly higher max load, you should consider something like our 60W 12V AC/DC Power Adapter.

The only differing spec is the load - it's higher at 60W. If we revisit our recommended RGB strips but use this higher capacity adapter now, we'll find that we can run a maximum of 7m now.
