The Slimline Driver 45w is one of our thinnest models at 204mm x 54mm x 33mm and has a low maximum load of 45 watts. It can be easily hidden and is a great choice for strip lights. It has an input voltage of 240 and can be purchased in either 12 or 24 volts.

How To Choose The Correct Driver

Our LED Strip Lights have voltage and current requirements that are different to the standard 240v mains input supply. They will therefore require a driver to work properly and to step down their power in order to function.

When selecting a driver, you should consider the power outlet being used and the wattage of the strip lights. They also come in two varieties, including plug and play or mains ready.

To calculate the load required, simply multiply the wattage per metre by the total number of metres you intend to run from a single driver. Remember it is also possible to run more than one length of strip lights from a single driver!
