What Does That Mean?

‘RGB’ stands for the primary colours red, green and blue. Commonly used in relation to LED Strip Lights, they work by blending with one another to create a wider variety of colours and shades.

‘IP’ is shortened from Ingress Protection and is a two-number rating system that is used to denote the defence of a fitting against foreign objects and water. The higher the IP rating, the more protected the product will be.

‘CCT’ is the acronym for Correlated Colour Temperature and refers to the perceived warmth or coolness of a light. LED lighting can come in Warm, Cool and Daylight White which appear to be different shades of white to appeal to different areas.
