Mirrorstone's 100W 12V AC/DC Power Adapter is a really simple way of transforming 240V to 12V, ready for use with any of our single colour and RGB colour changing LED strip lights. They can also be used with our single colour LED light bars too.
With a 100W maximum load, you can get plenty out of this mains transformer.
Installation is simple: it plugs straight into your mains via 3-pin plug, and into your LED tape through 5mm jack. A 1-metre kettle lead separates the adapter from the mains plug, and there's a further 1-metre length of cable from the adapter to your appliance.
The actual 12V power supply itself doesn't take up too much room, as it's only 132 x 55 x 38mm in size.
We've got power adapters of varying loads available in our wider range of power supplies, so if you want to run longer lengths or higher capacity strip light, you have the freedom to do so.
With our revolutionary new OptimX power adapter range, efficiency has been upgraded. Increasing the amount of tape you can run from just one power supply, yet still retaining the same sleek size, these optimise your 240v power input perfectly for your lower voltage devices.
As mentioned before, it can supply 12V power to any 12v single colour and 12V RGB colour LED tapes.
A great option for general illumination is our 7.2W Single Colour LED Strip. It has a maximum brightness of 510 lumens yet it only uses 7.2W/m.
If used with our featured power adapter, you would be able to run lengths of up to 12m of this tape, as we recommend leaving at least a 10% gap between your total watts required and the max load of your transformer.
If you fancy being a little bit more creative, then our 7.2W RGB LED Strip Lights is probably the best option for you, as they have far more colours and effects at their disposal, though you'll need a controller similar to our IR controller with remote to use them.
They have the same specs otherwise as our recommended single colour, hence you will also be able to run up to 12m of this tape with our featured power supply too.
If this setup all seems a bit too confusing for you, then you may be better off buying our 5m RGB LED strip light kit.
It has everything you need straight out of the box - a 240V power supply, controller and 5m of our RGB colour changing LED tape. This ensures an easy installation with no additional purchases required.
Whether you're buying each component separately, or going for our kit, it might be worth knowing that spending over £50 ensures you get free shipping giving you instant savings.
Yes! We'll give you 14 days during which you'll be eligible to notify us if you want a refund or exchange if you're not happy about anything.
