OptimX 12W 12v AC/DC Power Adapter

Plug your low voltage LED strips directly into your plug sockets with the 12w 12v AC/DC Power Adapter. Coming in a black plastic casing and featuring a standard UK 3-pin plug, it can maintain its heat very efficiently helping prolong the life of the unit.

Fully CE & RoHS certified, it can be plugged into any socket across the home without you having any doubt. Due to how it draws its power however, it cannot be installed within a bathroom. That being said living rooms, bedroom and kitchen installations are all fine.

With our revolutionary new OptimX power adapter range, efficiency has been upgraded. Increasing the amount of tape you can run from just one power supply, yet still retaining the same sleek size, these optimise your 240v power input perfectly for your lower voltage devices.

Reducing Failures Effectively

Coming in 12v, there is a limit to what can be installed on to the 12w 12v AC/DC Power Adapter. Whilst it can take any of our 12v single colour and RGB strip lights, it's maximum load makes it perfect for shorter installations. The list below documents exactly how much of each wattage can be ran from one unit:

• 4.8w/m Single Colour LED Tape - 2.5m;
• 7.2w/m RGB Pixel Strip - 1.5m;
• 9.6w/m Single Colour Tape - 1.25m;
• 14.4w/m Single Colour LED Strip - 80cm;
• 5w/m Side Emitting LED Strip - 2.4m.

It's not just LED strips that can be powered by the 12w 12v AC/DC Power Adapter with a whole range of controllers for LED strips such as RGB, single colour, dual colour and Pixel tape.

Apart from just this, we also stock a wide range of other power supplies, including more AC/DC power adapters, LED drivers, a range of submersible power supplies, dimmable drivers for dimming from a switch as well as 1-10v and Dali dimming controls.
